Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week: April 29 - May 3

Teacher Appreciation Week is coming up and we will be celebrating our teachers and staff to let them know how much they mean to us. The following are some suggested ideas for how to celebrate our staff throughout the week. 

Monday, April 29 - bring a flower or plant

Tuesday, April 30 - bring a school supply

Wednesday, May 1 - bring a snack

Thursday, May 2 - bring a small gift or gift card

Friday, May 3 - bring a handwritten card

PTA will also be sponsoring a staff breakfast on Monday and a taco lunch on Wednesday!

Any specific questions pertaining to your student's teacher should be directed at your room parent.

Kids Heart Challenge

The Kids Heart Challenge is coming back to Turtle Rock again this year! Students will learn how to have happy and healthy hearts and brains, while raising lifesaving donations to help others with special hearts. Plus, your family can learn the lifesaving skill of Hands-Only CPR in Finn’s Mission! Register TODAY at http://www2.heart.org/goto/turtlerock  or by downloading the FREE AHA Schools App. Students who register early will be recognized at our assembly on April 22nd! Thank you for supporting our school, the American Heart Association, and this lifesaving program!

Multicultural Family Night is Coming!
Mark your calendars! Turtle Rock Elementary School PTA is hosting the annual Multicultural Family Event on Friday, May 17th, from 5 pm to 7 pm. Join us outdoors for your country tables, cultural performances, and more as we celebrate our diverse school community! This event is a great opportunity for families to learn about different cultures and traditions.
