Turtle Rock Elementary School PTA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is managed by a team of dedicated parent and staff volunteers. We are committed to the enhancing well-being of all students and it is our belief that every adult has a responsibility to ensure that all students develop to their full potential. We also believe that parents are students' first teachers and that parent involvement is essential throughout a child's educational experience. Our responsibility includes advocating for the safety and welfare of all students and working together with teachers, staff, and administrators to provide quality education and enrichment opportunities.
Turtle Rock Elementary PTA supports students and teachers in a variety of ways:
Irvine Unified School District (IUSD) is one of the highest performing school districts in California and nationwide, but the district has significant gaps in both federal and state per student funding due to the state's Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF). Turtle Rock Elementary School PTA works to fill these funding gaps by fundraising and organizing supplemental student enrichment activities and programs. Donations, grants, and community sponsorships are critical to sustain the high-quality education and enrichment opportunities for Turtle Rock Elementary students.
